About

To play a wrong note is insignificant; to play without passion is inexcusable.

It's an interesting story how I became a singer, but let me tell you something About Me first. I am a singer/ songwriter, performer, entertainer as well as an audio engineer. Now you might be thinking how is it possible for someone to be into all these at the same time.. Good question, because until now even I didn't realize I was this versatile.

Having roots from Indian Classical music, I have been learning music officially since last 7 years, unofficially since when I was born. Unofficially because my father is a renowned playback singer prominently in Sufi music. I was privileged to learn from gurus that belonged from different "Gharanas" like - Kirana Gharana, Patiala Gharana and Bhindibazar Gharana.

I am an audio engineering graduate from one of the best music colleges in the world - Musicians Institute, Hollywood. It was a great pleasure learning from Grammy Award winning instructors and working with extremely talented musicians.

Currently I am based in Los Angeles, California working with indie bands, production companies and more prominently perform in live concerts, by the way you should attend my live concert sometimes.

I know it's hard to trust someone these days, so let me tell you some of my achievements. For my contribution for the Indian Community in United States, I was felicitated by Mayor Tony Lima (City of Artesia), Congresswoman Michell Steel, Assembly member of California Legislature, Sharon Quirk-Silva and many more.

I also run an Organization called - The Garba Social in Los Angeles to promote Indian culture to the south Asian youth residing in the states. We are doing a garba event this year in Los Angeles.

It's very important to give back to the society, I have also performed in various fundraisers to help the people in need, and we were successful to raise more than $150,000 through various organizations for the noble cause.
